Welcome

“There is an old saying that grapes thrive in beautiful places, and indeed, exceptional wines come from truly beautiful locations. The panoramic view from our terrace is unforgettable for those visiting us for the first time. You can see Lake Balaton, the vineyards stretching into the distance, Kerekedi Bay, and the Tihany volcano—it's truly a memory for a lifetime. However, this place represents much more than just a scenic viewpoint. The vineyards have shaped the stunning landscape for 2,000 years.
The history of this area is reflected in the ruins of Roman villas dating back to the era of St. Donat in the 2nd century. The name of the 7th-century village, Paloznak, meaning 'vineyard place' proves the past-Roman continuity of winemaking. The Guden donation letter from 1079 is the first Hungarian document to mention vineyards around us. Finally, the legacy of the 100 generations of local grape cultivators also adds to this rich tapestry.
We strongly believe that this heritage that must be preserved for future generations. This is why we cultivate grapes and continue to develop our estate. In the process, we feel the spirit of our ancestors living on in the wine, with our vineyard patron, St. Donat, guiding and assisting us every step of the way.”
